7. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
Ortheos offers SMS text message notifications as part of its platform services. By opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to the following terms:
Program Description
Ortheos sends SMS notifications related to legislative activity including bill status updates, AI analysis completion alerts, and committee hearing notifications. Messages are transactional and informational in nature.
Opt-In and Consent
You opt in to receive SMS notifications by creating an account at ortheos.ai, navigating to your Notification Preferences in your account settings, providing your mobile phone number, and explicitly enabling SMS notifications. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Ortheos. You may also opt in by providing your phone number during account registration and enabling SMS notifications.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on legislative activity and your notification preferences. You may receive multiple messages per day during active legislative sessions, or fewer during recess periods. Typical usage ranges from 5 to 30 messages per month.
Opt-Out
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from Ortheos. You may also disable SMS notifications in your account settings under Notification Preferences. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. To resume messages, reply START or re-enable SMS in your account settings.
Help
For help with SMS notifications, reply HELP to any message you receive from Ortheos, or contact us at support@ortheos.ai.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Ortheos does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
Privacy and Data Sharing
We will not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used solely for delivering Ortheos platform notifications. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.
Supported Carriers
SMS notifications are supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Modifications
Ortheos may revise these Terms of Service at any time without notice. By using this platform you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms.
